DRIVE-IN MOVIE NIGHT
Thursday 30th July 6-9pm

THE EVENT

Sunset kindly created a spectacular one-off fundraising drive-in movie event for us.
Thursday 30th July was their launch night and on-screen we enjoyed the 1985 family classic "Back to the Future"

Many thanks to Helen Childs and the asbestos team @RWK for making this possible!
Helen even organised a real DeLorean for the event, which was a massive hit with attendees!

The video gives you a glimpse of the fun we had raising funds for asbestos cancer research!

Huge thanks to everyone for coming along and supporting our cause.
Video above kindly made by PuP media consultancy

I'm doing the Cookie Challenge to end mesothelioma (asbestos cancer)
#erasemesocookie #erasemeso
Text ERASEMESO to 70085 to donate £5 (optional)
Please nominate and pass on to friends..
For more info see https://www.erasemeso.org/cookie-challenge
By completing this challenge and sharing you are helping us raise awareness of mesothelioma - aka asbestos cancer.

Despite its UK ban in 1999, asbestos-related illnesses still claim 107,000 lives a year.
13 people die every day in the UK, yet asbestos can STILL be found in over 50% of UK homes, 9 out of 10 hospital trusts and over 70% of UK schools!

There is no safe level of asbestos exposure...and mesothelioma presents its symptoms 20-40 years later..usually too late.
Asbestos cancer is terminal. There is still no cure with very little funding.. so we're aiming to fund a cure via research.
Huge thanks for reading and helping us.
